Mobile app
The above applies to our website. As for the “Enmaa Al Khalidiyah” mobile app, its policy is narrower. Details are as follows:
- No account and no login. We do not request a name, email address, or phone number to use the app.
- No tracking and no analytics. We do not use behavior-tracking tools or advertising identifiers.
- Favorites are saved only on your device. The list of properties you save remains in the app’s local storage on your device and is not sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app removes it.
- We do not collect or transmit data. The app reads property data from our website for display. It does not upload anything from you except what the notifications service requires if you enable it yourself (see “Notifications” below).
- Calls and WhatsApp. When you tap them, the app opens the Phone app or WhatsApp on your device, and what happens afterward is governed by those apps’ policies, not ours.
- Maps. Locations are displayed via the open OpenStreetMap maps, and map tiles are requested directly from their servers, which receive your device’s IP address as with any network request. We display an approximate location as a circle, not an exact point.
- Notifications. If you choose to follow neighborhoods in the “My Alerts” screen, the app registers with our server the notification token issued by Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) for your device, along with the list of neighborhoods you follow and a locally generated device identifier—no account, no name, and no personal identity. We use it for one purpose only: to alert you as soon as a new property is posted in those neighborhoods. Because delivery is handled through Google’s service, the notification and the notification token pass through Google’s servers as the message carrier; we do not share your data with any other party. Notifications stop when you unfollow neighborhoods or disable them in your device settings. The notification token may remain with us for a period after you stop using the app until Google’s service invalidates it; we delete inactive tokens periodically. Notifications do nothing unless you choose to follow a neighborhood yourself.
